Responsibilities:
Develop a solid understanding of the companys products and services to communicate value propositions to customers effectively Manage and action quotes, orders, and sales-related enquiries received via telephone, email, or walk-in customers Source and confirm product/service pricing from suppliers Analyse and interpret sales enquiries to extract relevant technical information, ensuring accurate product/service selection and specifications Work closely with internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Maintain a proactive level of telephone and email communication with existing and prospective customers Keep accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress to support the achievement of sales targets Perform general filing and administrative duties within the sales department Carry out any ad hoc tasks reasonably aligned with the employees skills, experience, and training
Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12 certificate Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role, preferably within the IT industry Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach Ability to work both independently and as part of a team High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills Commitment to continuous learning, growth, and delivering exceptional service Own reliable transport and a valid drivers licence Knowledge of Pastel is advantageous
