Description:
Requirements:- Minimum 8 years relevant experience, either in a similar role or as a construction foreman at a reputable construction company
- Strong knowledge of concrete, formwork, reinforcing steel, and pre-tension steel
- Preferably experienced with mechanical equipment such as concrete batch plants, saw-cutting machines, hydraulic jacks, and overhead cranes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Deadline-driven with the ability to adhere to strict time programmes
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor factory operations to ensure productivity, quality, and safety
- Oversee planning, casting, and lane stripping
- Communicate daily task requirements clearly to supervisors, operators, and labourers
- Ensure deliveries are dispatched on time
- Address line performance issues, bottlenecks, and breakdowns
- Conduct daily line walks to monitor process control and the accuracy of checklists
- Ensure machinery is cleaned and inspected at the start and end of each shift
- Report maintenance issues immediately and assist with breakdowns
