HVAC Technician – Commercial & Industrial ProjectsLocation: Montague Gardens, Cape TownMy client, a specialist HVAC contractor operating within commercial and industrial environments, is establishing a new operation in Cape Town and is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join their team. Key Requirements:

• Trade tested Refrigeration Mechanic
• Gas Certificate (strong advantage)
• Proven experience working on chilled water systems
• Solid understanding of water balancing principles and practices
• Good working knowledge of electrical systems and controls
• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and flow diagrams

Technical Competence (Highly Advantageous):

• Commissioning of HVAC systems
• Water balancing and air balancing
• Taking and interpreting air flow measurements
• Setting up and fine-tuning control systems
• Fault finding across mechanical, electrical, and controls interfaces

Package:

• Position based in Montague Gardens
• Salary is highly negotiable , dependent on qualifications, certifications, and proven experience

This role would suit a hands-on technician with strong commissioning capability who is comfortable working in complex commercial and industrial HVAC environments.
