Our client, a manufacturer and supplier of a wide variety of quality, purpose-made timber products for the building industry (including doors, windows, etc.) has a position available for a Sales Representative to join their growing team.This position will be focused on sales in the Boland, Cape Town, and West Coast areas. The role involves frequent travel, and will be required to occasionally visit our client’s factory in Malmesbury.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and proactive individual who takes initiative and sees tasks through to completion. The incumbent is disciplined, persistent and has a reputation of excellent sales and relationship management skills. This role will be expected to work with a variety of clients, consisting of building contractors, architects, interior designers, building material suppliers, as well as private clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining new and existing client relationships, and goes the extra mile to meet sales targets.
In return, our client offers a remuneration package that includes a combination of basic salary & commission.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• 3-5 years’ relevant sales experience in the building industry or a similar industry;
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);
• Reliable internet connection and workspace setup for remote work;
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle;
• Willingness to travel to clients and sites.
