Our client is a well-established, engineering-driven manufacturer specialising in stainless steel fabrication and turnkey water treatment systems. With a decades-long track record, they supply custom-engineered equipment for industrial, municipal, and environmental sectors across Southern Africa. Innovation, compliance, and quality lie at the core of everything they do.Youll be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, overseeing inspections, and driving ISO 9001 compliance. The role includes managing audits, maintaining documentation, leading continuous improvement, and supporting health and safety practices. This is a hands-on opportunity to build and refine a Quality Management System within a technical manufacturing setup.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- National Diploma or Degree in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in quality control/management within a manufacturing or fabrication environment (preferably stainless steel)
- Proven knowledge of ISO 9001, with experience in implementation and audits
- Strong understanding of welding, fabrication, and quality inspection methods
- Familiarity with South African OHS regulations and workplace safety systems
