Key Responsibilities:- Deal Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify, assess, and prioritise investment opportunities across diverse portfolios.
- Financial Modelling: Build, refine, and stress-test advanced financial models to support robust decision-making.
- Due Diligence Execution: Lead commercial, financial, and operational due diligence workstreams with internal teams and external advisors.
- Transaction Management: Drive end-to-end deal execution, including structuring, valuations, negotiations, and approvals.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor performance, assess risks, and develop strategies to enhance long-term portfolio value.
- Market & Sector Analysis: Conduct research to spot trends, disruptions, and emerging opportunities within the financial services and investments landscape.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare high-impact investment papers and present recommendations to Executives, Committees, and Boards.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- A relevant Bachelors Degree in Finance, Investments, Economics, Accounting, or similar (Honours/CFA/CA(SA)/CFA Level progress advantageous).
- 5+ years experience in investment management, corporate finance, private equity, Financial Services, or related deal-driven environments.
- Proven expertise in financial modelling, valuations, and transaction analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial services, investment products, and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience in deal execution and portfolio oversight.
