A leading organisation in the Professional Services / Corporate Finance sector is looking for a technically gifted Senior Accountant who knows how to transform complexity into clarity.Based in Mowbray, Cape Town (southern suburbs), this role is crafted for a CA(SA) with 5+ years post-article experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment where high standards are the norm, not the exception.
Your speciality? IFRS 15 Revenue Recognition. Your mission? Ensuring that the businesss revenue reporting is airtight, compliant, and strategically insightful. Youll work closely with senior leadership, interpret contracts, support month-end accuracy, and drive technical excellence across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead revenue recognition processes in line with IFRS 15 Interpret client/contract arrangements and ensure accurate revenue treatment Oversee technical accounting compliance and financial controls Support month-end reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation Prepare high-quality technical papers & accounting position documents Collaborate with commercial & operational teams on contract structures Contribute to continuous improvement, systems optimisation & process refinement
Job Experience & Skills Required:
CA(SA) essential Minimum 5 years post-articles experience Strong technical accounting exposure with a focus on IFRS 15 Experience in high-volume, complex or contract-driven environments Advanced Excel & strong systems capability Analytical, structured, detailed, and comfortable guiding stakeholders EE candidates preferred (but role remains open and inclusive)
