Description:
Duties & Responsibilities:- Handle the full financial function, including the GL, reconciliations, TB, and preparation up to financial statements.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with financial controls.
- Process the month-end, year-end, and audit support functions.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate project and cost allocations.
- Utilise BuildSmart for accounting, reporting, and data management.
- Prepare financial reports, analyses, and variance commentary as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
BCom Degree (essential). 35 years experience in a full accounting function role. BuildSmart experience is a MUST. Exposure to the construction industry essential. Strong understanding of the full financial function (GL, recons, and TB, up to FS). Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
