Key Responsibilities:
- Compile monthly and quarterly management accounts with property-specific insights
- Maintain the fixed asset register
- Support audit preparation and compilation of IFRS-compliant financial statements
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor rental income and expenses
- Track lease agreements, rental escalations, and utility recoveries
- Ensure VAT, CIPC, tax and insurance compliance
- Support payroll reviews and reconciliations
- Perform bank and GL reconciliations
- Support investor reporting and inter-company recoveries
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting (BCom preferred)
- Completed or in-progress SAICA/SAIPA articles
Experience:
- 13 years finance or accounting experience
- Property management finance experience beneficial
Skills:
- Strong understanding of IFRS and South African tax
- Excel and financial modelling proficiency
- Experience with QuickBooks or Xero advantageous
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
