Our client, a leading financial services organization known for innovation and precision, is seeking a Manager: Collections Strategy to spearhead the strategic development and optimization of their collections function. This is a high-impact role where your analytical expertise and strategic vision will directly influence business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the strategic design and enhancement of the collections function to meet organizational objectives. Develop and document data-driven models and strategies across the entire collections lifecycle. Analyze portfolio trends to identify risk drivers and deliver actionable insights. Lead forecasting, target setting, and performance analysis to maximize portfolio profitability. Partner with data and BI teams to ensure accurate reporting and insightful dashboards. Implement champion/challenger strategies to foster continuous improvement. Support operational teams by integrating analytics into collections processes. Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and data utilization. Present complex analytical findings in a clear, compelling manner to non-technical stakeholders.Experience & Skills Required:
Honors Degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics (with Econometrics), Actuarial Science, or Engineering. 5+ years in a strategic or analytical collections role. Technical proficiency in SQL, R, Python, AWS, and advanced Excel. Banking or Financial Services experience is advantageous. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
