The Role: Civil Site Foreman
This role is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of site operations across multiple locations. You will lead teams, manage on-site resources, and ensure that project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. The position plays a critical role in workforce planning, team coordination, and overall site performance.
Key Responsibilities

Bring a minimum of 3 years experience as a Site Foreman in civil construction

Induct and train new employees on-site processes and standards

Allocate and oversee teams, ensuring clear instructions from the Surveyor are implemented

Monitor attendance, enforce discipline, and ensure working hours are adhered to

Conduct weekly planning and track progress against targets, reporting any issues

Supervise material usage, plant and equipment, and monitor contract costs

Ensure night watchmen are present and site security is maintained
About You
-
3+ years of civil site supervision experience (roads, paving, bridges or related)

Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills

Proficient in English and Afrikaans

Valid drivers license and own vehicle (company bakkie provided for site travel)

Able to work independently, uphold site standards, and drive team performance
