Description:
A skilled Millwright is required to support the operations team by ensuring reliable electrical and mechanical performance across the plant. The role focuses on maintaining high equipment availability through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety standards. Qualifications & Experience- Qualified Millwright (Section 13 or 26D trade certificate).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience maintaining large electrical and mechanical installations.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills essential.
- E&I exposure will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of instrumentation, plant systems, and control principles.
- Ability to interpret technical data and maintain accurate records.
- Skilled in safe use of tools, adherence to maintenance procedures, and OHS practices.
- Knowledge of VSDs and medium-voltage switchgear advantageous.
- Medically fit for work in a water treatment plant environment, including exposure to various elements and confined spaces.
- Must have own transport, be willing to travel, and support additional sites in the region.
- Available for standby duties after hours and on weekends.
