Our client, a well-established business in the manufacturing industry based in Philippi (Cape Town), has a vacancy for an Assistant Sales Officer to join their team in a fast-paced work environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised and has excellent communication skills.Responsibilities will include (but not limited to): *Coordinate and manage daily product administration *Capture and reconcile data *Maintain and update tracker reports, daily summaries, and documentation required for claims and invoicing *Handle purchase orders, supplier communication, and client liaison *General administrative support *Deliver and collect documents from clients and sites as required *Support office operations *All other tasks related to the role.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric required;
• Tertiary qualification in a related field would be advantageous;
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative and/or sales role;
• Previous experience in a construction / manufacturing environment will be highly beneficial;
• Strong proficiency in the MS Office suite;
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
