Description:
Qualifications & Requirements:- Minimum 5 years in data analysis or BI reporting roles
- Strong SQL & DAX skills (Power BI)
- Experience designing semantic models and dashboards in Power BI
- Deep knowledge of normalized/star-schema databases
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, and data reconciliation)
- Familiarity with modern data environments (data lakes, CI/CD, and data warehousing Microsoft Fabric is a bonus)
- Business rule documentation and data validation expertise
Key Performance Areas (KPAs):
- Maintain and improve existing reports/dashboards
- Convert business needs into technical report specs
- Lead data validation across different layers (bronze, silver, and gold)
- Build and manage Power BI semantic models (including embedded models)
- Implement data security (e.g., row-level security)
- Collaborate with Engineers for robust pipelines and data quality
- Provide UAT support and end-user training
- Create exception and trend-based reports that tell a clear story
