DUTIES:
- Generate new leads through cold calling, site visits, and other innovative methods or connections.
- Build, maintain, and consistently grow a strong client base.
- Upsell at every opportunity by collecting detailed information about projects and the professionals involved.
- Source and develop prospective new clients to generate business and optimize sales, including making and reporting on the required number of cold calls via
- In-person visits to offices, factories, and construction sites.
- Read drawings and extract bills of quantities for lighting requirements.
- Create lighting layouts/designs (positioning of lights on drawings) in accordance with project requirements and industry best practices.
- Prepare technical and architectural product specifications according to client requirements.
- Communicate with clients at all stages of the project.
- Submit clear and professional quotations and proposals for current and prospective clients.
- Consistently reach and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Research and stay up to date with lighting trends, technology, and industry standards.
- Facilitate showroom visits and present products to existing and prospective clients.
- Assist in the training of internal sales consultants as required.
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
- Every 1st & Last Saturday: 09h00 – 13h00 (on a rotational basis; some months you won’t work on a weekend)
