Description:
A South African private commercial radio station based in Cape Town is seeking a proactive, experienced, and dedicated IT Manager to oversee all non-studio technological operations at their station.Responsibilities:

Manage the office and on-air network and connectivity , ensuring high performance and reliable operation across the station.

Implement and maintain measures to ensure stability and speedy downtime recovery for all critical IT systems.

Develop, maintain, and test the Risk Plan and Disaster Recovery (DR) Plan to minimize service interruption.
-
Ensure all staff are adequately equipped from a software and hardware perspective, managing inventory and deployment.
-
Provide timely and effective support to ensure staff are supported when problems occur , acting as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues.

Manage the security of the office environment (excluding physical security of the building), implementing best practices to protect data and systems.

Oversee and manage access control for internal systems and applications.

Manage technical resources and support services , optimizing their utilization.
-
Manage relationships with vendors/suppliers for hardware, software, and external support services, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality solutions.

Manage the technical budget , tracking expenditures and planning for future needs.
Minimum Requirements:

A relevant certificate or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

At least 5 years' experience in a similar IT management or senior support role , preferably within a fast-paced environment.
