In this senior role, youll spearhead the design, simulation, and development of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) for advanced aerospace and defense systems. Youll mentor Junior Engineers, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with stringent industry standards. - BEng or MEng in Electronic Engineering (or similar)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 10 years experience (15+ years preferred) in electronic hardware design
- Military or Aerospace industry experience advantageous
- Proficiency in:
- Altium (non-negotiable)
- LTspice or similar simulation tools
- Microsoft Word & Excel
- Expertise in:
- Schematic design, PCB design, circuit simulation and analysis
- Analog, digital, and communication hardware designs
- Familiarity with standards: DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, and DO-254 (advantageous)
- Additional preferred skills:
- High-speed digital design (50GbE to 100GbE)
- MTBF calculations, FMEA circuit analysis
- IPC design courses for Military & Aerospace applications
- Experience with 3U VPX and backplane design
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
