Description:
Duties & Responsibilities:- Handle the full financial function including GL, reconciliations, TB, and preparation up to financial statements.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with financial controls.
- Process month-end, year-end, and audit support functions.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate project and cost allocations.
- Utilise Buildsmart for accounting, reporting, and data management.
- Prepare financial reports, analyses, and variance commentary as required.
- Support the finance department with ad-hoc accounting tasks and process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BCom Degree (essential).
- 35 years experience in a full-function accounting role.
- Buildsmart experience is a MUST.
- Exposure to the construction industry essential.
- Strong understanding of the full financial function (GL, recons, TB, up to FS).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
