Minimum requirements:
Post matric qualification in finance, accounting or bookkeeping or a related field will be preferable and beneficial 3-5 Years' of experience in a finance and administrative role Proficiency with MS Excel and Word, and financial software such as Pastel Accounting, Pastel Payroll and Microsoft 365 Attention to detail: Crucial for accuracy in financial records Organizational skills: For managing multiple financial tasks and data Communication skills: To effectively communicate financial information Analytical skills: To identify financial trends and variances Accounts Management: Process residents invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle petty cash Data Entry and Reconciliation: Capture and verify financial data, reconcile bank statements, and maintain accurate financial databases Payment Processing: Prepare payment requisitions, schedule payments, and reconcile vendor and client accounts, CSOS Payments Financial Reporting: Accounting skills up to trail balance level; Assist with preparing financial reports, such as debtor age analysis, and present financial information to management; Processing of VAT transactions Bank reconciliations Compliance Vendor and Supplier relations Payroll support: Capture and process monthly payroll input data and administer staff enquiries Procurement: May assist with procurement procedures, vendor coordination, and managing inventory
