Description:
The Client, a Construction company based in Montague Gardens, is looking for a Site Foreman to join their Team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing all the construction work on site, including ensuring occupational health and safety compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
The Site Foreman must have extensive knowledge of the trade and the work involved, along with an ability to resolve problems with appropriate and timely decisions. Requirements include -
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Construction Site Foreman on public sites e.g. hospitals, schools, clinics, etc.
Knowledge of general building, plumbing, civil engineering and other construction processes Knowledge of construction plant and equipment, production control, safety, material control, subcontractors and read & interpret drawings & programs
Medically fit
Valid driver’s license
Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
Good interpersonal skills
Assertive and confident
Ability to work under pressure
Goal-orientated
Ability to lead a Team
Sober habits

Relevant qualification(s)
PDP is an advantage
The successful applicant must be willing to be based at various sites in Cape Town, Western Cape or any other Province in South Africa.
Duration: 12 Months
Probation: 3 Months
Salary: Negotiable
Working Days/Hours: Please note working days are Mondays to Fridays, 08:00 - 17:00 and every alternative Saturday from 08:00 - 14:30
