Key ResponsibilitiesDrafting, formatting, and reviewing pleadings, notices, and correspondence. Managing case files, discovery, and trial preparation. Conducting legal research, compiling case law, and summarising judgments. Liaising with counsel, clients, and experts. Assisting attorneys with litigation processes, including insurance claims, commercial disputes, and settlement agreements. Maintaining accurate records, billing, and document management systems. Requirements
Paralegal Diploma / LLB Minimum 35 years experience in a litigation environment, with specific exposure to commercial and insurance litigation. Strong knowledge of High Court and Magistrates Court procedures. Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Lexpro, LegalSuite, GhostPractice, or similar). Excellent drafting, research, and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle multiple matters simultaneously. Attributes
