Job Title: Veterinary Receptionist
Location: Blouberg\ Table View Area
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and emails, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
- Collect and process payments for services provided
- Coordinate communication between veterinary staff and clients
- Ensure the reception and waiting area is clean and organized
- Assist with handling and restraining animals, as needed
- Adhere to all veterinary practice policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Proficient in using computer systems and software
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
- Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team
