Description:
VACANCY: DIESEL MECHANIC
· Inspection, diagnostics and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and machines
· Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components
· Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmission and braking systems
· Checking vehicle lighting systems
· Conducting and analysing diagnostic tests on vehicles
· Performing preventative maintenance on service trucks
· Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
· Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
· Excellent organizational skills
· Site visits for emergencies and breakdowns
· Ensuring the cleanliness of the workshop
· Volvo, Scania, Freightliner, Mercedes, UD & MAN inspection, diagnostics and repairs experience
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate
· 5 years working experience
· Experienced with maintenance and repair tools
· Attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Code 14 Drivers License
