As the Group Accountant, youll be central to the groups financial operations preparing consolidated accounts, managing inter-company reconciliations, and ensuring IFRS compliance.Youll work closely with subsidiary finance teams and senior management, delivering financial insights that support strategic growth and decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified CA(SA) looking to expand their experience across group reporting, forecasting, and process improvement in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts and maintain the group consolidations pack.
- Coordinate and support annual audits, ensuring IFRS compliance across all entities.
- Manage VAT submissions and assist with corporate tax processes.
- Consolidate group budgets and forecasts to guide strategic initiatives.
- Strengthen internal controls and drive efficiency in reporting processes.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Qualified CA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification.
- 2+ years post-articles experience (preferably in a group or commercial environment).
- Advanced Excel proficiency with a strong understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting.
- Proven group level experience.
- Experience in consolidations and annual financial statements.
