Minimum 3-5 years bookkeeping experience Strong Pastel Accounting experience (non-negotiable) Experience in property development / real estate advantageous Solid understanding of accounting principles Strong reconciliation skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Good communication and organisational skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain full books to trial balance and balance sheet standard Process daily financial transactions, including cashbook, journals and general ledger Capture and reconcile supplier invoices, statements, and payments Manage debtors and ensure timeous collection Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations Prepare month-end reports and assist with the audit requirements Process VAT, PAYE, UIF and ensure statutory compliance Support the finance team with ad hoc financial and administrative tasks Maintain accurate records for multiple property-related projects Track expenses, budgets, and cash flow where required
