Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrator to manage the warranty claims process for our automotive dealership. The Dealer Warranty Administrator will be responsible for overseeing all warranty claims, ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently, and communicating with customers and manufacturers as necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a background in automotive warranty administration, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Key Performance
Customer Satisfaction
- Process all warranty claims in line with VWSA and dealership policies and procedures.
- Liaise with the relevant staff in the service department and at VWSA to resolve costing and warranty issues
Campaign Coordinator, Service Core Processes Gate Keeper
- Download relevant campaign information from Partner Net and pass on information to the service manager to be
- Warranty Claims
- Gate 1 Service Core Process - checking before loading on system. Quality control – Warranty Submissions.
- Gate 2 - Pre-Repair commencement
- Gate 3 – Quality
- Gate 4 –Costing
- Return defective parts to manufacturer as required
- Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted and deadlines are met
- Communicate with customers regarding warranty claims, providing updates and answering any questions they may have
- Maintain detailed records of warranty claims and repairs, including documentation of parts and labor costs
- Work closely with manufacturers to resolve any warranty claim disputes or issues
- Train dealership staff on warranty claim processes and best practices
- Keep up-to-date on manufacturer warranty guidelines and requirements
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in automotive technology or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive warranty administration or a related field
- Strong knowledge of automotive warranties, including different warranty types and coverage levels
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Valid driver's license
