How you'll role
As a Warehouse Dispatch Clerk/Controller you will be entrusted with the management and supervision of dispatch operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of order dispatches, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and enhancing service quality for both internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Supervise and manage the dispatch of local and export orders
- Reconcile delivery notes and invoices, noting and reporting any discrepancies
- Liaise with site security to call vehicles for loading
- Check the quality and quantity of goods being sent out
- Ensure trucks are loaded/preloaded according to FIFO principles
- Monitor deliveries and vehicle movements throughout the day
- Complete manual load confirmations, verifying against Sage picking slips
- Coordinate with the invoicing clerk to finalize Sage invoices
- Ensure all stock loaded is verified and documented
- Conduct monthly stock counts and submit reports to the plant stock controller
- Ensure compliance with ISO 22 and OHSA safety standards

- 2–3 years’ experience in warehouse dispatch, inventory, or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with dispatch or inventory software (e.g., Sage)
- Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
