Description:

Duties:

  • Compilation of Financial Statements
  • Review of Bookkeeper’s processing and management accounts
  • Processing tax invoices for suppliers and customers
  • Processing and reconciling cashbooks (bank recons)
  • Reconciling to supplier and customer statements
  • SARS E-Filing
  • VAT reconciliation and returns
  • Assist with VAT reviews on SARS
  • Processing of journals and process up to a final trial balance
  • Manage and oversee the monthly Accounting Department
  • Oversee Payroll Department:
  • Taking responsibility for the deadlines for the payroll department
  • Process payroll for selected clients
  • Payroll Processing on Sage ONE and Sage Payroll Professional
    • Start and termination
    • Any income & deduction Payroll related in accordance with legislation
    • Provide monthly information from Payroll system on request
  • Oversee and review:
    • EMP201
    • IRP5 (interim & annual)
    • EasyFile
    • UIF, and
    • COIDA submissions
  • Registrations & de-registrations:
    • PAYE
    • UIF
    • COIDA
