ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
- A PhD in Physics.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of consistent, extensive, and excellent performance in teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Evidence of successful postgraduate supervision.
- Achievement of national and/or international recognition through research outputs within the last seven (7) years.
- Significant contribution to community engagement.

- Dealing with student queries and complaints regarding the Department/Programme.
- Managing and supervising staff which includes: -
- The allocation of
- Leave management.
- Enhancing staff relations and building a team towards a student centred department.
- Attending to matters such as study leave, grievances, disputes, training & development.
- Appointment of part-time and replacement
- Programme and project
- Enhancing Faculty projects g. Post graduate Recruitment and supervision, Siyaphumelela, FYSE, Orientation and Graduation.
- To provide leadership to the department with respect of teaching & learning and research.
