Financial Accountant needed in Pretoria East Salary: R33 000 - R38 000 (depending on experience) Minimum requirements:- Relevant Finance degree
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Completed articleship training (signed off by an accredited training office)
- Registered with relevant body (SAIPA, SAICA, AGA)
- Tax practitioner registration will be an added advantage
- Overseeing financial operations with meticulous attention to detail, establishing, implementing and overseeing effective systems, processes and controls
- Providing relevant feedback and discipline as required
- Performing a range of financial duties such as maintaining general ledgers, reconciling bank accounts and bookkeeping up to trial balance
- Establishing, maintaining and balancing various accounts using computerised bookkeeping systems
- Executing all financial systems and procedures for cash books, petty cash, credit cards, debtors and creditors
- Data entry and database management, maintaining meticulous records, compiling, composing, and signing final annual financial statements
- Compiling of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with various audits (external and internal)
- Processing and reconciling monthly payroll, staff commissions, and statutory payments
- Assisting with tender applications
- Performing as a strong leader of a cohesive team with strict enforcement of statutory regulations, quality standards, governance processes and compliance requirements
- SARS Compliance (in respect of all tax types and types of entities including individuals)
- Liaising with other departments in respect of above
- PA related duties directly to the CEO
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Pastel Partner, SAGE 300 People, CaseWare working papers, Easyfile employer and Efilling
