Description:
Lead the development and execution of the legal and compliance strategy, ensuring it aligns with the companys overall business objectives and long-term vision
Establish and maintain a comprehensive legal and regulatory compliance framework that supports proactive risk management
Design and implement effective internal controls, policies, and procedures that ensure compliance across all business functions and align with the companys digital transformation initiatives
Conduct regular compliance audits focused on high-risk areas to identify gaps, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations
Proactively identify, investigate, and assess potential compliance breaches or areas of concern, working closely with key stakeholders to develop practical, compliant solutions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, manuals, and procedures, ensuring timely submission of all required regulatory reports and filings
Prepare the required compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders
Qualification:
FSCA-registered Category 1 Compliance Officer
LLB, BComm (Law), or related qualification
Certificate/Diploma in Compliance Management
