My client, a leading player in the automotive manufacturing sector, is seeking a proactive Occupational Health and Safety Advisor to join their team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programmes
Advising management throughout all phases of new and existing projects
Conducting inspections, audits, and investigations, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
Updating policies and systems to maintain legal compliance
Representing the company at safety forums and committee meetings
Keeping meticulous records and documentation for litigation readiness
Coordinating HSE training and awareness campaigns for staff, contractors, and visitors
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to uphold ISO 45001, OD44, and Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements
What you’ll need to qualify
National Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Health
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HSE role within a manufacturing/production setting
Strong knowledge of plant operations and applicable legislation
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to analyse incidents and provide practical solutions
Valid Code 08 driver’s license
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
