Description:
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full accounting function, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end processes. Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis. Oversee cost controls, revenue tracking, and financial performance within the hospitality environment. Ensure accurate processing of invoices, payments, and supplier accounts. Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, cash books, and POS systems. Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including VAT, tax returns, and audits. Liaise with internal departments and external auditors. Implement and maintain effective financial policies and procedures. Provide financial insights to management and support operational decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance 510 years experience in an accounting role, with at least 3 years at senior level. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is essential. Strong understanding of hospitality revenue systems, stock control, and cost management. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
