Description:
A dynamic and fast-growing group of companies is looking for an energetic, confident, and experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. The role is based just outside Durbanville and will support a group consisting of 5 companies, 4 sites, and approximately 270 employees. This position reports directly to the Managing Director, but requires someone who can operate independently, take initiative, and provide strategic HR leadership across the business.ð§ Key Responsibilities
- Full HR lifecycle: recruitment, selection, and onboarding
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and ensure legal compliance
- Oversee Performance Management (including KPAs)
- Facilitate training and development initiatives
- Manage employee relations and serve as the strategic link between management and employees
- Communicate and drive the organisation’s vision and strategic objectives
- Manage absenteeism, disciplinary hearings, performance enquiries, job descriptions, organograms, training records, etc.
- Handle timesheet approvals, SDL, H4M processes, provident fund claims, and related administrative requirements
âï¸ Essential Requirements
- Matric + relevant HR diploma/degree
- Minimum 10 years proven HR experience covering the responsibilities listed
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication abilities — verbal, telephonic, and email
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Highly adaptable, diplomatic, and skilled at problem solving
- Strong management capability and the ability to work independently
- Own reliable transport
- Sober habits and a strong work ethic
