Description:

COMPLIANCE

  • A regular cycle of stores cleaning and inspections is carried out to ensure safety standards are always maintained to the highest level possible and in compliance with legislative requirements.
  • PPE is used as required by legislation.
  • Incidents and innovations are logged on Sheqsys as they arise.

STAFF MANAGEMENT

  • Staff are managed and directed as appropriate.
  • Company HR and Disciplinary policy is adhered to.
  • Training for staff is planned, and succession plans are managed.

STORES SUPPORT SERVICE

  • Efficient security, stock control and optimum storage conditions are established for the company’s product lines.
  • The receipt, co-ordination and safety of goods coming through the stores is monitored.
  • Orders arrive and are despatched on time to the right destinations and in the right quantities.
  • Efficient systems are implemented and managed to account for incoming raw materials/spares.
  • All goods are stored securely and safely in conditions appropriate for the raw materials/spares.
  • Stock levels in storage are monitored and stock rotations that take into account production dates if applicable are monitored.

  • New ways to improve the company’s Stores efficiency and cost effectiveness is sought.

  • Maintenance and servicing of all Stores machinery and equipment.

  • Input is provided to senior management on all aspects of the storage and distribution of goods in and out of the Stores.

  • Management reports are prepared by due date.
