Description:
Minimum Requirements:- 2+ years of relevant experience as a Draughtsperson working with structures
- Diploma or degree in Drafting or a related field would be beneficial but not a must
- Detailing bridges and culverts experience would be highly beneficial
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, Civil3D, and AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Basic report writing skills
- Strong technical drawing skills with keen attention to detail
- Comprehensive understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
Duties will be, but are not limited to:
- Prepare detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Convert rough sketches and specifications into precise, accurate, and detailed drawings
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and objectives
- Review and modify drawings to correct errors or discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with the project team to meet deadlines and milestones
- Maintain accurate documentation of drawings and design changes
- Continuously improve drafting techniques and stay updated with industry trends and advancements
