Description:
Our client distributes FMCG and industrial products nationally and seeks a hands-on Bookkeeper to manage financial records from source documents through to trial balance. Youll play a key role in maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring costs, and ensuring compliance with company processes.Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping to trial balance
- Capture and reconcile supplier invoices and payments
- Process daily banking and petty cash
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Assist with month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare VAT submissions and assist Auditors where required
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Matric and a Bookkeeping/Accounting Certificate or Diploma
- 3+ years experience in a distribution or wholesale environment
- Strong command of Excel and Sage / QuickBooks
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Reliable, deadline-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision
