Job Duties:
- Managing and overseeing the security of the vault
- Monitoring and controlling access to the vault
- Maintaining accurate records of all items entering and leaving the vault
- Ensuring compliance with security protocols and procedures
- Responding to alarms and security breaches
- Coordinating with security personnel and management
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Security industry certification or relevant training
- Valid security licence
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Previous experience in security or related field
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Strong problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher education in a relevant field
- Additional security certifications
Working Conditions:
The role of Vault Officer involves working in a secure environment, often in confined spaces. The job may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of heavy objects. The officer may need to work shifts, including nights and weekends, to ensure 24/7 security coverage of the vault.
