DUTIES:
Spray equipment and parts with primer and finish paint as specified on orders. Spray all oven parts according to specifications. Spray proofer parts with clear gloss paint. Spray trolleys with silver silicon 400 paint. Follow paint mixing formulae (Paint Process Sheet) and work with 2K spray paint and epoxy spray mixtures. Prepare and perform final spray on reconditioned parts and machines. Conduct body panel beating, body putty application, and sanding work. Perform any spray-related tasks as required. Follow supplier specifications for paint application and surface preparation. Remove grease, dirt, paint, and rust from equipment surfaces using abrasives, solvents, brushes, washing tanks, or sandpaper. Pour paint into spray guns and adjust nozzles and paint mixes to achieve proper paint flow and coating thickness. Monitor painting operations to identify flaws (blisters, streaks) and correct their causes. Sand equipment surfaces between coats of paint and/or primer to remove flaws and enhance adhesion. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power equipment using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths. Mask surfaces with tape or paper to protect them from paint. Spray prepared surfaces with specified primers and finish coatings. Allow painted products to dry and touch up any missed spots. Fill small dents and scratches with body fillers and smooth surfaces to prepare equipment for painting. Apply logos and safety decals to finished products. Paint by hand in areas that cannot be reached with a spray gun. Dispose of hazardous waste appropriately. Perform fiberglass work, including making samples and moulds. Clean spray booth walls, roof, and floor daily. Clean lights weekly and wrap with protective wrap. Clean extractor fan and fan box monthly, as needed. Keep spray paint storage locker clean; no food, clothing, or personal items allowed. Keep paint locker closed and locked at all times. Always use safety PPE, including spray masks, gloves, and other required equipment. HOURS:
