Pay@, a leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions is looking for a Network Customer Relationship Manager to join their growing team, either based in Johannesburg or Stellenbosch. This role is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with digital & banking payment networks to enhance service delivery, optimise transaction performance, and support business growth.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong relationship management, product management, problem-solving, and analytical skills. They will take ownership of a portfolio of digital & banking networks, ensuring effective servicing, retention, and expansion while driving innovation and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities will include:
• Manage and grow relationships with digital and banking payment networks to increase transaction volumes.
• Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with payment networks to meet business objectives.
• Support onboarding of new payment networks, working with Operations, Finance, and IT on contracts, fees, and integrations.
• Ensure successful delivery of new and existing products and services, addressing queries and technical requirements.
• Monitor performance and forecast sales volumes using data analytics to inform business decisions.
• Identify market trends and competitor activity to refine business strategies.
• Drive strategic partnerships, representing Pay@ at industry events, expos, and networking opportunities.
• Support marketing initiatives, collaborating on campaigns, collateral, and promotional activities at payment networks.
• Expand payment network relationships across Africa, identifying opportunities for growth.
• Track and report on business development progress, including transaction performance, market insights, and solution effectiveness.
Minimum requirements:
• Relevant tertiary qualification;
• 5-8 years’ experience in fintech, banking or payments industry;
• Experience in business development and scaling initiatives;
• Strong understanding of the digital environment as well as product development and product management;
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools;
• Driver’s license, and the ability to travel;
• Fluent in English and a good understanding of Afrikaans. Any additional language will be seen as beneficial.
