Our client is looking for a Junior Electrical & Electronic Systems Engineer who is keen on the development of advanced electrical systems for off-highway vehicles. The candidate will be responsible for the design, integration, and validation of vehicle electrical architectures and subsystems, working closely with cross-functional teams. Qualification and skills required:
- B. Eng. or B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic or Electrical & Electronic Engineering
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Visio for schematic creation and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and datasheets.
- Familiarity with electrical standards and best practices for vehicle systems.
- Experience in 3D CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, CATIA) is advantageous.
- Understanding engineering principles including systems engineering, circuit theory, and signal integrity.
- Experience in CAN bus and vehicle communication protocols (preferred).
- Design, develop and document electrical systems and harness architectures for off-highway vehicles.
- Create detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and interface definitions using Microsoft Visio and other CAD tools.
- Interpret electrical schematics, component datasheets, and technical documentation for system design and troubleshooting.
- Support preparation of functional specifications, ICDs and system architecture diagrams.
- Participate in DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) sessions to ensure robust system design.
