Job Description:We are seeking a motivated External Sales Representative with a proven sales record in technical or industrial markets. The ideal candidate will generate leads, engage clients, negotiate sales agreements and achieve sales targets independently. Key Responsibilities:- Identify and qualify potential clients through cold calling, networking and online research
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations and product demonstrations
- Negotiate sales agreements and provide timely price quotes and proposals
- Maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and problem resolution
- Keep detailed records of sales activities, client interactions and transactions
- Develop and manage a strategic call cycle plan for client outreach
- Minimum Matric qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in external sales (technical/industrial/hose markets)
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work unsupervised
- Fluent in English (Afrikaans/Zulu an advantage)
- Willingness to travel within Gauteng
