Site Agent / Site Manager School upgrade projects- Our client, a reputable Building Contractor with an excellent track record in public sector and educational facility projects, is seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee the construction and upgrade of multiple Western Cape Government School projects.
- Full site management and coordination of all on-site activities.
- Implement project plans, schedules, and safety procedures.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and labour to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct site meetings, liaising closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and client representatives.
- Ensure compliance with Western Cape Government standards and building regulations.
- Oversee quality control, progress reporting, and site documentation.
- Enforce strong Health & Safety culture in line with SACPCMP and OHS Act requirements.
- Minimum 5–10 years’ experience as a Site Agent in building construction.
- Proven experience with school or public infrastructure projects (essential).
- Strong technical knowledge of building trades, finishes, and site management.
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management / Building / Civil Engineering.
- SACPCMP registration or eligibility (advantageous).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
You are a hands-on leader with strong planning and coordination abilities, capable of driving productivity while maintaining top-quality workmanship and compliance. You have a solid understanding of government project procedures, and a proven ability to deliver on time and within budget.
