Description:

Our client, an established manufacturer in Southern Africa is seeking a customer-focused Sales Consultant to join their Cape Town team. Responsibilities:
  • Respond to client enquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, ensuring correct pricing, stock availability, and delivery timelines.
  • Provide technical advice and assist customers in selecting suitable products.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process — from order placement to invoicing and delivery follow-up.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding quotes to convert potential leads into sales.
  • Track and update clients on the progress of orders, ensuring clear communication throughout.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base.
  • Attend product and technical training sessions to maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12) essential; a tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or Engineering is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, ideally within the HVAC, mechanical, or industrial equipment.
  • Strong technical understanding of air movement, ventilation, or mechanical systems.
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
