Ivanplats is looking for a Draught Person REF: IVP-ENG- 2503IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this “mine of the future”.
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or architecture
- Degree from a recognized technical college
- Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD)
- Draw manually favorable, but not essential
- Computer Literacy
- Scheduling drawings to agreed priorities.
- Quality draughting services.
- Following specifications and calculations.
- Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
- Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
- Communicating with engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
- Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the Survey team.
- Ensuring final designs are compliant with legislation regulations.
- Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
- Preparing reports for management and other stakeholders.
