Responsibilities defined but not limited to the belowDrawings
Design and develop components, assemblies, and systems based on project requirements.
Support sales, workshop, project and sales engineers technically.
Design and draw hydraulic, process, diesel, electrical and electronic circuits and diagrams.
Design, draw and evaluate mechanical structures.
Draw up test procedures, FAT documents, BOM and manuals.
Co-ordinate with sales, workshop, project and sales engineers to ensure all technical documents are as per requirements.
File all documents in their correct folders. Special care for NDA. Accurate communication and documentation when handing over instructions.
Assist sales, workshop, branches, project and sales engineers with quotations.
Attend quotation and design reviews.
Evaluate and assist technically with repairs.
Assist with fault finding.
Perform FAT and commissioning in the workshop and on site.
Assist company branches technically.
General
Keep abreast of the latest CAD technology.
Maintain current working knowledge of structural standards, regulations and current design factors for equipment used in hydraulic systems.
Assist management with any other duties as may be required.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements Qualification and ExperienceMatric with Diploma/Bachelor’s degree Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
3–5 years’ experience in a technical or mechanical design engineering environment
Basic proficiency in CAD software and design techniques, with hands-on experience using SolidWorks (or Inventor) and AutoCAD for 2D and 3D modelling.
Preferable good working knowledge of Fluid Power Systems
Driver’s License
English spoken fluently and written.
Microsoft Office.
