Description:
The National Merchandising Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandising strategies to drive sales and maximize profitability across all national accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail merchandising, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to achieve sales goals and enhance the customer shopping experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create effective merchandising plans, product assortments, and promotional strategies
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Manage relationships with key national accounts to ensure effective merchandising execution and compliance with brand guidelines
- Monitor and track performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising strategies
- Train and develop merchandising team to ensure consistent execution of merchandising initiatives
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in merchandising to continuously improve strategies and tactics
Requirements:
- Sales: 4 to 5 years
- Fmcg Experience: 4 to 5 years
- Management Skills: 4 to 5 years
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably at a national level
- Proven track record of driving sales and profitability through effective merchandising strategies
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in sales data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership experience in managing a team of merchandising professionals
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and merchandising software
