Advance your career in the manufacturing industry as a Procurement Manager based in the Western Cape!
In this role, you will oversee strategic procurement activities and ensure supply security, maintain strong supplier relationships, and drive cost-saving initiatives. Your expertise in strategic buying, supplier management, and project procurement will be key to achieving timely deliveries, optimal stock levels, and smooth business operations. You will lead the sourcing of new suppliers and monitor supplier performance to resolve any issues. You will work closely with Technical Operations and Stock Control to forecast demand and maintain supply continuity.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have a relevant tertiary education, with a certificate in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing being advantageous. You will need 5-8 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management. Strong knowledge of Sage Evolution, advanced Excel skills, and excellent communication and administrative abilities are essential. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, meets deadlines, and works effectively within a team.
