The successful candidate will be responsible for financial management, reporting, and strategic analysis across multiple business units — supporting the Group Financial Manager in driving operational and financial excellence. Key Responsibilities:- Prepare consolidated management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts for multiple entities within the group.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
- Oversee budgets and forecasts, assisting business units with financial planning.
- Conduct cost and margin analysis to support pricing, production, and strategic decisions.
- Manage cash flow reporting and assist in liquidity planning across the group.
- Liaise with auditors and support audit preparation and compliance.
- Collaborate with management and operations to ensure sound financial controls and efficient reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar management accounting role, preferably within manufacturing or engineering.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Syspro experience advantageous).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
