They are known for innovation, precision, and their commitment to quality.They are seeking a Group Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial management, reporting, and strategic analysis across multiple business units — supporting the Group Financial Manager in driving operational and financial excellence. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare consolidated management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts for multiple entities within the group.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
  • Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Oversee budgets and forecasts, assisting business units with financial planning.
  • Conduct cost and margin analysis to support pricing, production, and strategic decisions.
  • Manage cash flow reporting and assist in liquidity planning across the group.
  • Liaise with auditors and support audit preparation and compliance.
  • Collaborate with management and operations to ensure sound financial controls and efficient reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar management accounting role, preferably within manufacturing or engineering.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (Syspro experience advantageous).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
