Established manufacturing company is recruiting for a Quality Manager with previous Military experience. The Quality Assurance Manager is to ensure consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good manufacturing practice systems, validating processes & providing accurate documentation. Qualifications and expertise required:
- Quality Management Qualification to the NQF level 6 or Technical Diploma.
- At least 8 years’ experience in the field of Quality Management, Quality Control, and Assurance
- Understanding of quality principles, systems, methods, tools, and standards applicable in the Defense sector
- Quality Audits
- Experience in Project Management
- Process owner for all quality processes and custodian of all required quality standards
- Manage the budget for the quality function
- Internal and External Client Audits
- Sub-Contracted supplier Quality Audits and Quality control management
- Regularly brief the quality team on meeting customer requirements and expectations
- Acting as the Management Representative as required by the Qualification bodies
- Approval authority for the quality specifications for each bid and contract
- Participation in Contract review meeting
- Practical experience in Quality Auditing and Quality Certification.
